Our Mission

AZ Literary Press exists for one reason: to publish outstanding work from individuals whose voices are often overlooked. We’re small, yes. We don’t have the reach of the big publishers. But what we do have is heart, vision, and a commitment to the craft.

We believe in championing great storytelling without sacrificing integrity. We seek bold narratives, fresh perspectives, and works that leave a lasting impact—because real literature isn’t about market trends, it’s about expression, depth, and truth.

How We Operate

At AZ Literary Press, we publish with purpose—not volume. We choose a handful of manuscripts because they move us, challenge us, and reflect something honest. We don’t rush the process. We work closely with our authors to make sure each book is shaped with care and released with intention.

We operate on a royalty-based model. That means we invest in the editing, design, and distribution of the books we believe in. Our initial royalty split helps us stay sustainable—but once a book earns back its production costs, royalties shift in the author’s favor. Because this isn’t just about one launch; it’s about the long life of a book.

We don’t publish everything. We publish what matters.

Looking to the Future

We believe great stories shape the world—and that publishing them is an act of faith in what literature can do. As AZ Literary Press grows, we want that growth to mean something: more authors empowered to speak truthfully, more readers moved to listen deeply, more space for the kind of storytelling that doesn’t fade after the last page.
